Have you heard of Cookie In A Jar before? A healthy recipe? Well this one is a healthy recipe, great for breakfast and as a snack. If you are craving for cookies, well.. this is it!
You can make the mixture in advance and store it for later usage. You can even give it away as a gift!
Makes 9 cookies.
Cookie in a jar dry mix:
1/2 cup of oats
2 Tbs of desiccated coconut
2 Tbs of almond meal
2 Tbs dark chocolate chips
2 Tbs of preferred chopped nuts
Optional- 2 Tbs wholemeal flour
Layer all ingredients following the above list in a small jar (its kinda pretty!)
1 cookie in a jar mix
2 ripe bananas
1. Mash the bananas & mix the dry mix together.
2. Mix all ingredients well.
3. Scoop the mixture with a spoon and flatten it.
4. Bake it at 170C for 15-25mins (depends on your oven). Eat it while its still warm. Enjoy!
