I had this not long after I’ve finished my intensive workout. It’s good coz its got lean fresh meat which is high in protein and I also use low fat cheese in this recipe. It still tastes great and you can stuff your sandwich with all the veggies you like! Perfect to bring it to your work with a cup of fresh fruits and nuts for snacking.
6″ wholemeal sandwich bun ( its actually a foot long but I cut it in half)
1 slice of low fat cheese (you can use 2 slices if you want)
2 pieces of cooked steaks (thin)
Salt and pepper
A bit of olive oil
1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
1. Heat up a non stick pan and drizzle some olive oil. Once hot, put your steaks in the hot pan and season top with mix herbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook each side for about 2mins.
2. Toast your bun onto the hot pan.
3. Put your veggies and steaks in the bun and enjoy!
To keep it healthy, try not to put sauces like mayonnaise, mustard, etc. If you must, just use 1Tsp of ketchup/chili sauce.
